Raw Data Speed Demons (2025)

Raw Data Speed Demons (2025) is a work for violin with live interactive electronics. The violinist triggers random changes to a sampler containing hundreds of harsh and noisy raw data sonifications. These samples change chaotically at blistering speeds and, to me, evoke images of mischievous digital demons. The violinist mimics and battles the entropic sampling system, creating a perceptible dialogue between performer and machine.
